An information system was developed and implemented to automate the management processes of the Biological Resource Collection of genetically and phenotypically characterized cell lines and primary human tumors of the Federal State Budgetary Institution N.N. Blokhin National Medical Research Center of Oncology with the participation of Genome Expert LLC.

This system makes it possible to automate the processes of registration of various types of samples, their placement in the storage, their issuance, laboratory tests of samples, disposal, as well as the organization of sample movement processes between departments of the N.N. Blokhin National Medical Research Center of Oncology. The system includes quality control tools at each stage of the sample life cycle, provides the ability to create a digital storage with visualization of the storage structure, and also provides the ability to build comprehensive analytics for storage units, workload, logistics and other parameters.

Acceptance tests were carried out; employees were briefed on the use of the System.
