Adenocarcinoma HeLa

cell line / Homo sapiens / Adenocarcinoma

How to order?
Animal species:
Human, Homo sapiens.
Origin:
cervical adenocarcinoma
Age:
sexually mature
Tissue:
cervix
Morphology:
epithelial
Histological diagnosis:
Adenocarcinoma
Tumoroids obtained:
yes
Subcutaneous growth:
yes
Molecular profile:
Lysophosphatidylcholine (lyso-PC) induces AP-1 activity and c-jun N-terminal kinase (JNK1) activity via a protein kinase C-independent pathway. keratin positive by immunoperoxidase staining, Isoenzymes G6PD,A
Tumorigenicity:
yes, tumors in nude mice
Karyology:
Model number = 82. range = 70 to 164. 98% of cells have a small telocentric chromosome. 100% aneuploidy in 1385 cells examined. Four typical HeLa marker chromosomes have been reported in the literature.
HeLa marker chromosomes:
one copy of M1, one copy of M2, four to five copies of M3 and two copies of M4, as shown in the G-banding figures. M1 is a rearranged long arm and centromere of chromosome 1 and the long arm of chromosome 3. M2 is a combination of the short arm of chromosome 3 and the long arm of chromosome 5. M3 is an isochromosome of the short arm of chromosome 5. M4 consists of the long arm of chromosome 11 and the arm of chromosome 19.
Note:
suitable for transfection, susceptible to Human adenovirus 3 Encephalomyocarditis virus Human poliovirus 1, 2 and 3. HeLa cells contain human papillomavirus 18 (HPV-18) sequences. P53 expression was low, and normal levels of pRB (retinoblastoma suppressor) were found.
Contamination control:
not detected
Viral infection:
not performed
Species identity control:
karyological, isoenzyme (LDH and G6PD) and immunofluorescence analysis.
Application area:
oncology, toxicology, can be used for screening Escherichia coli strains with invasive potential.
Culture method:
in vitro adhesion, colonies in soft agar, in vivo (see Appendix 1).
In vitro culture conditions:
Medium – EMEM fetal bovine serum 10%. passaging procedure - cell detachment using trypsin 0.25 %: Versene 0.02 % (1:3), split ratio 1:3 -1:5 cryopreservation – growth medium 65%, 5% DMSO, 30% fetal bovine serum (see Appendix 1).
